cosmetic renovation

goal: maximize return on investment and sales price on a limited, cosmetic only renovation budget.

approach: Since the project was funded by the real estate brokerage only cosmetic renovations were allowed. With a mere $60k budget we were able to modify almost all visible finishes including flooring, wall and ceiling paint, all electrical and plumbing fixtures. the budget did not allow for a kitchen remodel outside of painting existing cabinets and replacing fixtures.

design: we loved the architectural styling of the home although it was cosmetically very rooted in 90’s design. we modernized the feel by bringing in today’s neutrals and giving the home a very modern contemporary spin. emphasizing it’s mid-century cues.
